Giorgio Drago, Vice Chairman of De Agostini Editore since May 2005, was born in Novara on 1 August 1951. Having graduated in Political Science, from 1977 to 1989, he was External Work Office Manager and Vice Purchasing Manager at Officine Grafiche De Agostini.

In 1986, he was appointed Company Director while, from 1989 to 2003, he was Purchasing Manager and Vice Technical Manager at Istituto Geografico De Agostini.

Technical Manager at Istituto Geografico De Agostini-De Agostini Editore from 2003, since September 2005 he has been Technical Manager for Italy.

He is also a member of the Board of Directors of De Agostini S.p.A. and De Agostini Editore S.p.A.
