De Agostini Editore selects WebSystem, the digital division of the 24 ORE Group, to conduct advertising media buying for its web tv, DeAbyday.tv, and for its site Sapere.it

Milan, 15 March 2010De Agostini Editore has selected WebSystem, the digital division of System, 24 ORE Group's advertising agent, to conduct advertising media buying for its web tv www.deabyday.tv and website www.sapere.it .

Digital De Agostini, a business unit of De Agostini Editore, which was created to strengthen and develop De Agostini's presence on digital platforms, has entered into a partnership with 24 ORE Group's WebSystem to conduct media buying, as part of a process to develop its digital offerings.

WebSystem will conduct all of the online media buying for Italy, through standard banner advertising, video, sponsorship activities and managing special projects, for both www.deabyday.tvand www.sapere.it.

De Agostini Group's web tv offers a rich assortment of video content and in-depth analysis whose goal is to provide "how to" features that relate to many aspects of daily life, in clear terms and using a practical and functional approach. DeAbyDay was launched in February 2009, and offers various theme-based channels, currently offering over 400 videos, including: Feel good, a channel dealing with well-being for the body and the mind; Step one, a channel that gives advice on DIY projects for the home and suggestions on hobbies and leisure time; Secret corner, which features curiosities and trends from the hidden side of the city; Baby Kit, an invaluable guide that provides support to new parents; Kiss the cook, a guide for those who consider themselves expert cooks and also for those who lack confidence in the kitchen; Beauty & Style, a channel focussing on beauty and style; Green Life, with tips and ideas for living ecologically, and the latest channel, Say Cheers!, which is dedicated to special occasions that call for celebration, like Christmas.

Sapere.it is a portal created in 2001 dedicated to knowledge, offering content and unique tools that satisfy the need to know in a simple and direct way. The site offers the most comprehensive up-to-date web-based encyclopaedia in the Italian language, which is full of links and multimedia content. From the beginning it has been a reference point for the family and especially for school children; it is a true "network within a network" for disseminating knowledge and awareness. Sapere.it will soon be online after undergoing a facelift with respect to both design and content, making it even more valuable and functional.
