De Agostini Editore: our new site is online at www.deagostini.it

Milano, 17 March 2010 – De Agostini Editore S.p.A. unveils its redesigned web site, located at www.deagostini.it.

The site has been designed to provide a broad digital showcase of its products and services, which can satisfy the tastes and passions and keep up with the latest trends of a wide target audience ranging from infants to adults.

The logic behind the redesign is to provide site visitors with paths organised by topic areas, to offer all of the kinds of products that De Agostini Editore has available in the relevant areas of interest.

The ease of use of the site, together with engaging and intuitive navigation among its various sections, allows the user to find quickly and easily all of the information about products of interest, making online purchasing quick and secure.

The new site at www.deagostini.it not only offers a useful guide to De Agostini's range of products (booklets, books, encyclopaedias, manuals, television programmes, websites and mobile applications), but also access to videos, multimedia trailers, extra content for downloading and links to De Agostini content on the leading and most common social networks.

The products are presented using interactive tools such as cover flow and tag clouds, and are accessible using various search keys and organised under nine major areas of interest:

Parents and Children: products and videos for preschoolers and tips for parents and parents-to-be;

Young Children and Youths: stories, fictional series, courses and links to DeAKids sites, De Agostini Editore's satellite channel dedicated to young children and youths;

Cooking: De Agostini carries on its fine tradition in this field via the latest publications and cookery videos broadcast on DeAbyDay web tv (www.deabyday.tv);

Hobbies and Collecting: a world dedicated to individual passions and the thrill of collecting, with a showcase of products found at newsstands and by subscription;

Languages: items in this section range from large to pocket dictionaries, and traditional language courses to online courses;

Trends and Curiosities: picture books, light fiction and lifestyle channels on DeAbyDay web tv;

Geography and Travel: the world of cartography, atlases and tourist guides;

Knowledge: encyclopaedias and popular works, study guides and online and offline research guides;

Arts and Crafts: series and books to reflect on and develop the creativity that lies in each one of us.
